We have been advised of a check scam.
DO NOT CASH THE CHECK.

Please be advised that if you receive a check from "Ronson Equipment Company, LLC" that you are not expecting,  IT IS FRADULENT.   DO NOT CASH THE CHECK.  Our account with that bank has been closed.   We have alerted the authorities.

On June 9, 2008, one of our company checks was intercepted through the mail in Canada.  The individuals copied the check, changed the amount and other pertenant information.  These fradulent checks have been submitted all over the United States mainly as payment for items purchased on Craig's List and as sweepstakes winnings.

As of December 15, 2008, there has been another round of checks being issued.  These checks have account numbers that do not pertain to us and have been submitted as payment for Secret Shoppers from Craig's List.  Mainly it is asked that you cash the check, keep a certain dollar amount and return the rest.  

As of April 27, 2009, there has been another round of checks being issued.  These checks are being sent out by UPS delivery.  The account numbers on these checks do not pertain to us.  The Company name has been cutoff a little on the front half and back half of the name.  The signature is signed by "Ferbal" whom is not affiliated with this company.  We apologize for the inconvienence.  We ask that you forward any information you may have to your local authorities.
